Welcome to Sustainable Self Psychology

Sustainable Self Psychology is a private psychology and sexual wellness practice located in Malvern. We provide accessible, high-quality, trauma-informed treatment and education to the community. SSP proudly works within a framework of core values. We deliver a therapeutic experience based on authenticity, collaboration, safety, respect, shared knowledge, and deep listening, while also being guided by the latest in research and evidence-based psychological treatment.

Who We Are

SSP are a team of experienced psychologists and a sexologist, who are committed to working with you from a non-pathologizing, trauma-informed framework. We invite you to explore the ways in which you have learnt to navigate the world with curiosity and compassion. Our aim is to foster an inclusive space that creates the opportunity for deeper understanding, healing, and personal growth through mental health counselling, deeper psychotherapeutic work, and sexual wellness coaching.

What We Do

We work from a holistic model of health care, which understands people in the context of their subjective life experiences. Rather than focusing on diagnostic labels, we ask the question of “what happened” to help our clients make sense of their personal life histories and current circumstances. We use a range of evidence-based approaches, depending on your needs and preferences.

What to Expect

We understand that seeking help for your mental and sexual health concerns can be a daunting process. We place the utmost importance on a creating a safe, comfortable, and relaxed environment for our clients, believing that while the healing process is facilitated by the practitioner, it should ultimately be led by the client. We work in collaboration with you to help you move toward your personal goals.

"The 'immaterial' mind and its 'physical substrate,' the brain and body, are in a constant dance, as intimate as it is intricate," - Gabor Mate.
